Samsungs s7 series phone have a serious glass design flaw on the camera

I happened to be looking for a S7 and started reading reviews and looking at some used phones. I noticed that a lot of the used s7s had a single shattered glass piece on the camera module. I then found Samsungs forum where 22 pages people are rambling on about their camera glass shattering with no prior mishandling.

Samsung responded and still has not issued a free of charge recall/replacement on these flagship phones. (How to replace broken s7 camera)

Gorilla Glass is being used on all the 3 s7 series (s7, s7 edge, s7 note) but they are not clear if its gorilla glass on the camera module as well.

This has me rethinking the Note 7 pre order...
